Detailed explanations reveal the stories behind music's biggest achievements. Share your score to challenge fellow music fans.
Questions cover Grammy winners and snubs, Billboard chart records, platinum certifications, concert tour revenues, and Hall of Fame inductees. You might discover that Taylor Swift's Eras Tour became the first concert tour to gross over $2 billion, or that Snoop Dogg holds the record for the most Grammy nominations without ever winning.
Beyonce holds the record for the most Grammy Awards won by any artist with 32 wins, surpassing conductor Georg Solti's long-standing record of 31 in 2023. Among other top winners, Quincy Jones has 28 Grammys, and classical conductor Georg Solti accumulated his 31 wins over a career spanning four decades.
Santana's Supernatural and Michael Jackson's Thriller share the record for the most Grammy Awards won by a single album, with eight wins each. Supernatural won its eight Grammys at the 2000 ceremony, while Thriller collected its eight at the 1984 ceremony, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year.
Several artists have achieved EGOT status, winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. Notable EGOT holders include Audrey Hepburn, Whoopi Goldberg, John Legend, and Jennifer Hudson. At the Grammys specifically, Billie Eilish became the youngest artist to sweep all four major categories (Record, Album, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist) at the 2020 ceremony at just 18 years old.
