Saturday Food Trivia Marathon: Six Dishes, Six Quizzes
A food-trivia marathon is the perfect Saturday activity. Low stakes, high flavor, and if you structure it right, you'll actually get hungry during the questions. Here's the six-round route across global cuisines.
Round 1: Pasta Deep Dive
Start with the category with the deepest rabbit hole. Our Pasta Deep Dive quiz covers 300+ pasta shapes. Yes, really. How to Run the Marathon
Go in order: Italian, Japanese, Chinese, American, Indian, dessert. The flavors escalate and your brain doesn't get stuck on one cuisine. Take a 10-minute break between rounds 3 and 4 — physically and mentally this is when attention flags.
For a group version: project each quiz on a TV, hand out notepads, everyone writes answers silently, reveal scores at the end of each round. Winner of each round picks the snack for the next round.

By the end of the six, you'll have a mental map of global cuisine deep enough to dramatically change how you order at restaurants for the next month. That's the real prize — not the score.
